Program Supervisor, The Nook Children’s Program

The Program Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of The Nook Children’s Program, a nonprofit after-school, camps, and family support program in Toronto’s West End. The Program Supervisor oversees planning, coordination and facilitation of daily arts, literacy, recreation, and social justice programming in partnership with front-line staff members, volunteers, students, partners, and local families.

Stanley Park Ecology Society (SPES) runs outdoor day camps for children aged 6 – 11 based in Stanley Park each spring. Supports provided are based on client needs and can include risk assessment, safety planning, counselling and emotional support, legal support, housing support, information & referrals, accompaniments, and advocacy.

Family Drop In Lead – Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)

The Family Drop-In Lead will be facilitating the EarlyON Childhood Education Centre at 1033 King St. W. which is open from Tuesday – Saturday. They will develop and maintain activities for parents, caregivers and their pre-school children (aged 0 to 6) such as family/caregiver drop-in programs and group activities such as parent/child groups. The Family Drop-in Lead works in partnership with parents, partner agencies and the community to provide safe and stimulating programs and activities.
