We at the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto invite our community members across the Greater Toronto Area to become Volunteer Drivers to support children, youth and families who receive our services. You’ll play an integral role in ensuring children and youth, from infants to teenagers, are transported safely to and from family visits, Foster Care homes and residences, appointments and more.
We work with various organizations in the city to pick-up essential items for the families at Discovery House. We also share our donations with other organizations to prevent waste. In some cases we have no other option but to drop-off items to the landfill.
Volunteering at Shelter Movers means contributing to a mission that will make a meaningful impact on families experiencing abuse and supporting survivors as they transition to a life free of violence. It also means playing a role in ending gender-based violence. We are growing and looking to add caring, compassionate, and dependable people to our team.
