Purpose: Help to increase overall health and well-being and improve quality of life of our clients in the Safer Spaces, Hoarding Support program. The program is designed to help vulnerable, isolated individuals with hoarding tendencies de-clutter, sort and organize their homes. Developed from a harm reduction approach, we provide clients with opportunities that help improve their social, physical, mental and emotional health.
Organizing Exchange’s mission is to revitalize organizing power in Canada by using training and capacity-building within social justice and environmental movements to align efforts, establish values-aligned partnerships and build power towards economic and environmental justice over the next two-to-five years- and we are looking for a Lead Organizer to join our cause!
Volunteer Youth Mentors wanted
We are seeking committed volunteer mentors, from all backgrounds, to engage in meaningful and supportive relationships with 16 to 18-year-old Indigenous youth.
The Big Brothers Community Mentorship program provides supportive one-to-one mentoring relationships to children and youth in our local communities across Greater Vancouver.
The Mentoring with Math program supports children and youth in grades 3 to 7 who demonstrate a need for assistance in math at their grade level and allows families access to academic support who are not otherwise able to financially pursue outside of school tutoring.
The In-School Mentoring program provides supportive one-to-one mentoring relationships to children and youth at elementary schools in our local communities across Greater Vancouver.
Game On! is our fun group mentorship program that provides mentees with information and support to make informed choices about a range of healthy lifestyle practices.
We are effectively recruiting Mentor/Volunteer every month for our Community Connection Mentorship Program (CCMP). If you are professional, good at communication and willing to support Newcomers with your knowledge/skills, be out Mentor!
